6 Feb – Hong Kong actor Liu Wai Hung recently shared that the only reason he said yes to filming the Lunar New Year movie “Staycation” was because of Johnson Lee’s sincerity towards him.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who has been away from the Hong Kong big screen for many years now, shared that he initially declined to do the movie since he was too busy with his own work managing his organic agriculture business in mainland China.
“I didn’t want to be distracted from my work. But then Johnson came to see me at my farm in Guangzhou and discussed the project sincerely with me. I couldn’t turn him down even if I wanted to,” he said.
Liu added that he said yes to the project after making Johnson promised to let him work for only a day.
As for how much he is paid for his appearance, the actor stated that he doesn’t care much about the fee as he earns his money doing his own business.
“It could be a dollar or it could be nothing. I just did it for fun, so it doesn’t matter,” he said.
